SENATE BILL NO. 223 "An Act naming the state ferry first operating                                  
to serve between Metlakatla and Ketchikan; and providing for an                                     
effective date" was read the second time.                                                           
                                                                                                    
Senator Ben Stevens moved and asked unanimous consent that the bill                                 
be considered engrossed, advanced to third reading and placed on final                              
passage. Senator Ellis objected.                                                                    
                                                                                                    
President Therriault stated SENATE BILL NO. 223 will be on the                                      
May 18 calendar.
